Minneapolis, MN – (Para Trials June 27-29, 2024) Congratulations to U.S. Para Swimming athlete, Morgan Stickney (TAC Titans), for lowering her own 400m Freestyle World Record by 3 seconds in a winning time of 4:51.50. Morgan is a double amputee who competed in the Tokyo Olympic Games learning more about herself in the sense that she is a lot stronger than could’ve ever imagined. Morgan says “I never thought I’d survive one amputation, never mind two. But here I am: not only surviving but thriving. So no matter what you endure in life, don’t let it knock you down.” Stickney has earned her spot as a 2 x U.S. Paralympian representing Team USA in Paris later this summer August 29 – September 7, 2024. Congratulations Morgan, NCS will be cheering you on. #SHOWTHEWORLD #WEARENCS
