Towards the later part of 2014 we updated the U.S. Paralympics Swimming Officials certification and recertification process to make it simpler. The attachment explains the process if anyone missed the email last year. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me.
U.S. Paralympics Swimming is in the final stages of developing a U.S. Paralympics Swimming Officials on-line course and officials test to replace a portion of the existing class room course, and the open book test which is part of the certification. The final timeline is not yet available but as details and dates are finalized I will let you know. The on-line test will become a mandatory component of both the certification and recertification process for swimming officials. The hope is that this will make it easier for officials to access and complete the test, while at the same time ensuring that the quality and knowledge of our officials continues to increase as the IPC Swimming rule book continues to evolve.
If you know of anyone who would either like to be included or if you would like to be removed from the distribution list for these emails, please let me know.
Regards
Mark
