This year North Carolina Swimming will recognize its Top Five swimmers, All Star swimmers, and Swimmers of the Year for the past three seasons; the 2011 Long Course season, the 2011-12 Short Course season, and the 2012 Long Course season. Here are the lists of those swimmers:
The first column of each list includes all swimmers who were among the NC Top Five in any event in their respective double year age group (10U, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16, 17-18) in the final season rankings. The second column of each list includes those swimmers who have NC Top Five times in two different strokes, both of which must be AAAA times or better. The third column of each list includes those swimmers who have a USA Swimming Top Ten national time by individual age (11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18).
Those listed in the second and third columns are recognized as NCS All Stars. The Top Three male and Top Three female swimmers in each age group at the North Carolina Open Water Championships also earn All Star recognition. Open Water All Stars are listed here:
Links to the detailed Top Five rankings by event and age group can be found under the Swimmer News tab above.
