Congratulations to NCS Official, Chris Jung, as the recipient of the Connie Carroll award. Chris has served as a swimming official for 25 years. Highlights of Chris’s officiating career include: Certified YMCA official since 1999 – currently level III; Certified as Y Officials trainer since 2012; Certified USA Swimming Official since 1999; Certified NCAA / CSOA since 2009; Officiated at Y Nationals for 20 years in multiple levels and continues to serve all levels of local, state, and national YMCA and USA Swimming meets; and Chris was the 2018 recipient of the Phillips 66 Outstanding Service Award. In addition to her service officiating swimming, Chris has served multiple leadership roles in her community. Congratulations Chris Jung! #WEARENCS

Congratulations to the NCS Swimmers who earned Golden Tickets as qualifiers for the 2024 NCS Select Camp. The camp will be held at the Greensboro Aquatic Center on Saturday, April 13th. Swimmers earned their Golden Tickets by finishing in the top five of their age group in events contested at the 2024 NCS Age Group Short Course Championship meet this past weekend. We are excited to announce Brendan Hansen, 6 time Olympic medalist, and is also a former world record-holder in both the 100 -meter and 200-meter breaststroke events.
Due to expenses calculated and incurred prior to the application deadline, there are no refunds.

SAVE THE DATE and JOIN US in Greensboro – NCS is planning a one day LSC Spring Splash event filled with social and educational opportunities we want everyone to take part in from all across the LSC. What you can expect – Select Camp will be taking place with Olympian & Team Services Director- Brendan Hansen; Parents will have opportunity to provide feedback and learn with USA Swimming Team Service Advisors leading a couple social sessions for parents. Coaches gathering including education, feedback, and opportunity to network and discuss with coaches across our LSC; Officials will be hosting a workshop surrounding R-9 implementation and how to get others interested and involved, and much more including giveaways for those in attendance. The 2024 NCS 14U Age Group Short Course Champs meet, hosted by the TAC Titans, will be held at the Triangle Aquatic Center (TAC) in Cary from Feb 15-18, 2024. The 2024 NCS Select Camp invites will be selected by all Top 5 overall finishers in each event. Be “Extra-Ordinary” and Earn your Golden Ticket at the 2024 NCS Age Group Short Course Champs Meet. If you have a lane, you have a chance.

The Mecklenburg Swim Association (MSA) won the combined team championships at the 2023 NCS Senior Long Course Championship meet at the Greensboro Aquatic Center. MSA scored 1,068 points, ahead of the TAC Titans (TAC) who finished in second place. The Wolfpack Elite (WOLF) finished in third place, followed by the Raleigh Swimming Association (RSA), and Marlins of Raleigh (MOR). Congratulations to all NCS athletes, coach’s and NCS Clubs on a great meet. Thank you to our Officials, volunteers, families from across the LSC.
