Congratulations to Tristan Formon (New WAVE Coach / NCS Coaches Rep) on being selected as the National Age Group Development Committee Chair. Tristan states “I am tremendously honored to serve as the next Chair of the USA Swimming National Age Group Committee.”

MISSION STATEMENT:

WNC STRONG – NCSBetter2Gether

As we prepare for Thanksgiving this week, let us remember our friends in Western North Carolina. North Carolina Swimming has 15 Clubs out of 72 that were directly affected, or impacted by Hurricane Helene. Thankful for the swim community (locally and nationwide) coming together in so many ways supporting the immediate needs, to volunteers helping hard hit areas yesterday, today, and tomorrows. The Swimming community proves to be strong on and off the deck including AJCC (Asheville Jewish Community Center) offering pool water Fill to Flush operation to help their community in need- simple needs like flushing a toilet, to working with other clubs in the area to create opportunities for their swimmers to have some normal to their day with swim practice. What a blessing for Asheville AJCC, SMAC (Smoky Mountain Aquatic Club), and BAC (Blues Aquatic Club) coming together during unprecedented times. Truly Grateful for the leadership, collaboration, and willingness they put forth to work together. Stay Strong WNC.
If your family is looking for ways to support WNC this Holiday season, they encourage visitors to come, stay, and play; do all the things (day trips, shopping, support local artists, buy a WNC Christmas tree, skiing in the high country, etc). It takes a village, so let’s continue to support our friends in the West as we approach the Holiday season. #WNCSTRONG #NCSBetter2Gether
