2017 Carolina Crown Swim Challenge

May 2, 2017 by Bill Martin

The 2017 Carolina Crown Swim Challenge was held in the sparkling new YMCA pool in Clover, SC this past weekend.  Two hundred of the top 15-18 year-old swimmers from North and South Carolina gathered for the largest Carolina Crown meet yet.  The weather was terrific and everyone had a great time.

Swimmers were divided into four teams; Emerald, Sapphire, Ruby, and Black diamond.  It was a tight race for the team title and was decided in the final relay events, with Team Ruby coming out on top.

Here are the meet results.

Thank you to the swimmers, coaches, officials, and volunteers who made it happen!
